Polis Project Weekly Updates (04/28 to 05/04)
Due to the lack of quorum (35% of voting DRACHMA), the protocol proposal to update rewards for PancakeSwap v2 Liquidity Pools was defeated.
As of right now there’s 3.5 Million registered votes accounting for ~43.75% of the supply out of the required 2.8 Million (35%).
If you are staking Polis and have not registered yet to vote, please follow the guide at cutt.ly/CbzXM58 as you are only able to vote on proposals that are created after you register your coins to vote.
On Tuesday at 0:00 UTC (Monday for the west hemisphere) the team launched a new proposal to perform the protocol update. It is important register as much votes as possible and also that users are able to vote between Tuesday 00:00 UTC until Friday 12:00UTC. You can also find the guide to vote here cutt.ly/obzCTxG.
You can also find the information in the following link:
Please vote as soon as possible and urge the people you know to do so as well. It is more important than ever that you register to vote as there was a significant decrease in registered voting power. And it is crucial to have 2.8 million votes guaranteed for the proposal to pass.
The DAO has decided to create a lottery/raffle for active governance users participating in the voting process for Plutus proposals.
If you, as a user participate in the decision-making processes of Plutus proposals on our governance by actively voting, you have the chance to win 500 Polis!
Read on our forum how exactly the lottery will work and how you can participate:
Polis DAO Proposal April.
We want to inform you that the Polis DAO Proposal April 2021 is live and it’s time to vote!!!
Please switch to AGORA on our governance site to make the proposal visible!
If you need help make use of our updated faq/docs before asking for support:
We are aware that people weren’t very active on former proposals and that’s why we want to give you as a community member the opportunity to delegate your voting power to the DAO.
For this reason we will publish an address used by the DAO to participate in votings.
This could be an option for you for different reasons, like lack of knowledge in a specific area, the costs of voting process or just because you don’t want the hassle with our governance, proposals and votings.

Community Management and Outreach.
Due to the breach we had in our YouTube platform last week, our DAO managers decided to reschedule an AMA, to be able to answer your questions and have on record a useful video that you can review.
In the video we mention the reason behind said breach, as well as the purpose to put it behind us, since what drives us the most is the well known sense of community and positivity.
If you missed it, watch us here:
Thank you for your understanding.
We have been receiving many questions and comments directed to our managers!
It has been exciting to see the participation from our community, that is why we want to provide a way for you to access them directly and specifically, depending the department you wish to approach.
