Polis Core.

Website Launch.

With the launching of our new brand we would like to introduce our new website, it aims to be a central source of information to newcomers to our project as well as keeping informed our current community members from all around the world.

Check it out:

Welcome to Polis

This introduction is so important, that we decided to write an article about it:

New Branding and why we did it

Polis Vaults.

We are excited to announce that as of today, Polis Vaults service is live. It supports 14 different assets on the Binance Smart Chain, and each of these vaults is insured and benefits Polis Stakers, by using a percentage of the profits to buy back some Polis and burning them.

Read all about insurance protected vaults and how they work on our website here:

Polis Forum Replace Liquidity Pool Proposal.

On previous weeks our community member Kris BTC#5011 created a pre-proposal to evaluate the creation of a second pool for POLIS/BUSD that could potentially replace the current POLIS/BNB.

This proposal discusses different approaches on how to offer incentives for a new Liquidity Pool that uses a stablecoin asset along Polis with the goal of improving Polis stability under any market circumstance by untying it from a volatile asset.

Upon reaching a formal proposal status this will have a key impact within the project, the reward structure could end up changing in the following ways.

  • Two pools are incentivized: the old BNB-POLIS and the new BUSD-POLIS pools are incentivized by the Polis protocol and should split in any proportion the 40% reward of new coin emissions.
  • The pool is replaced: the old BNB-POLIS pools stops receiving incentives and the full 40% block emission reward goes to the new pool. Potentially leaving LP providers abandon the old pool.
  • The old pool remains: the new pool can be created but is not incentivized by new coin emissions. Potentially making most LP providers to stick to the old pool.

This of course has non trivial repercussions mainly for Liquidity Providers, and Polis holders and traders. So it is important that you help refine before an official vote is required and definitive.

That proposal has now closed and most stakers and liquidity providers agreed on the importance of changing to it, so we exhort you to read the proposal and comment on it because, even though time has passed to vote on the forum, we will soon be making the official vote.

New Pre-Proposal.

Community member elklosso#6438 created a pre-proposal to evaluate and discuss the Idea of a Polis-Army to cooperate and push our social media outreach and to spread the word of Polis.

Vote and comment here:

Building a “#PolisArmy” for more attention on Twitter

Remember that the forum is a way to be informed and contribute with new plans, so we encourage everyone to read the contents of proposals and discuss the ideas presented either on the forum (which makes it easier for other community members to follow the topic) or in the project’s official Discord server.

Community Management and Outreach.

Social Media Enhancement.

To expand our social media activity, we have taken professional advice and created some new social media accounts on relevant platforms that have a large number of crypto users, like Steemit, Hive, Flote.app and so on.

For this we have managed to enter a cooperation with Randy Hilarsky, who has already been working successfully in the social media area for various cryptocurrency and blockchain projects like Steemit, TheDollarVigilante, Aurox and many more since 2015.

These new social media channels will be published on our website in the next few days and you can follow them already from here:

We will have much more activity on our social media channels in future and we hope for your support in sharing our content and helping spread the word about Polis.
