Polis Project Weekly Updates (12/30 to 01/05)
We have created wallet 1.6.8 which includes the following:
1. We added a protocol ban that will start working at block 756164 at 30/12 (This makes the release mandatory for EVERYONE)
2. We left the fee at 1.0 POLIS / KB. We know this is a high fee but it is helping us to reduce the stake grinding on the chain.
3. The sporks are hard coded on the code to prevent removing the sporks.dat during reopen.
4. Addnodes are hardcoded
5. Bootstrap (updated twice daily) :

As a Christmas present to the POLIS community, we are glad to announce a new way to earn rewards within the POLIS blockchain ecosystem:
Introducing POLIS defi farms, where you will be able to earn POLIS while helping the project grow on liquidity, bringing in new defi investors.
We have officially received the results for the Olympus Protocol code audit.
As expected, the audit found some minor issues within the code, but nothing major that may delay the release of Olympus in Q1 this year.
The team is currently analyzing the issues found in the audit and planning their correction and integration into the main codebase. As soon as this is finished, we will be updating our roadmap for Olympus accordingly, and sharing it with the community. Once implemented, the changes will be deployed to the current testnet that has been running since January 1st, 2021, we expect the changes to be non-breaking and the testnet may not be rebooted again before Olympus mainnet release.
We are preparing a migration guide that will be able to help you move your PolisCore to Olympus and it will work on the current testnet later this week, so please stay tuned on the #olympus-ptn channel for news and guides regarding this topic.
Update V8.8.0 is out now!
Here is what you can expect:
- Improvements for Shift & Gift Cards.
- Faster app on startup and overall navigation.
- Bug Fixes.
You know there’s always room for change, that is why we continue to evolve here as well.
So, we wanted to remind you:
